This online platform lets you invest directly in microfinance clients for as little as USD 25. And you get your money back! No interest, but also no fee. We invested here!

USD 25 and up. Andelskassen Oikos
We are a Danish company, so here is the Danish option: Save as much as you like for at least 3 months and Oikos will lend the money to microfinance institutions.

> USD 1000. Calvert Foundation
The Calvert Foundation sels Community Investments Notes for microfinance for as little as USD 1000. Low risk and interest of 3%.

> USD 1000. FIG
Buy a share in this Geneva-based fund, which invests in small and medium sized microfinance institutions. Or provide them with a guarantee and they will extend it to a microfinance institution in need.
