August 2007. Microfinance in Holland
In week 30 I am travelling to Holland to meet with a wide range of Dutch microfinance actors to hear their opinion on our business plan called Interest for Change, which we have submitted to the BID Challnge Business Plan Competition. Through our coach, Paul Michielson, who has worked with Rabobank's investment banking unit for 25 years, we got appointments with some of the most competent microfinance people in Holland. July 2007. Common Interest, Chiang Mai, Thailand
Throughout the summer I worked for Common Interest Foundation, a microcredit organization in Chiang Mai in Thailand, implementing performance management and drafting specifiations for an updated Management Information System. Working from the perspective of a small microfinance organization was a rewarding experience, indeed. /Ole
